New River Valley Community Church

ADULT MINISTRIES

Why Join a Group?

Life change happens best in a small group environment. Small group is a place to discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's a place to pray together, care for one another and a place where you are missed when you aren't there!

Practically speaking, it would not be possible for the Pastor and church leaders of NRVCC to personally minister to everyone. We depend a great deal on the small groups at our church to help minister effectively to those who attend here.

It's important to get connected with a small group as soon as possible and find a place where you can learn and grow with people who accept you just as you are!

What Types of Groups Are Available?

We have Community Groups and Service Groups.

Community Groups are made up of 8-12 individuals who get together weekly to study, pray and do life together. The group chooses which topics to study and meets in a member's home.

Service Groups are made up of a group of people who serve together in the church while also taking time to fellowship and grow together.

How Do I Join?

Come by the small group table and pick up a list of available groups. Try out several to see which one you feel most comfortable with. If you don't find one that fits your needs contact Renee Poff for assistance.
